WBF Breaking and Equine Education is run by Will Forrester and Michelle Robson.
Originally from Western Australia Will has extensive equestrian background. Being raised on a 2.5 million acre Cattle Station, horses were an integral part of day to day work life. Following completion of High School will perused Rodeo and Camp Drafting before starting in racing in 2009 in Perth.
Will has ridden track work and broken in race horses for trainers in WA, VIC and NSW.
In 2011 Will completed a Diploma in Equine Management at Marcus Oldham Colllege in VIC. Moving to NSW in 2012 to work at Olympian Shane Rose's' Bimbadeen Park Breaking and Pre-Training property. Whilst at Bimbadeen, Will honed his breaking skills starting and riding many of the racehorse s under Shane's guidance.
Michelle grew up in country Victoria her passion for horses started at an early age with riding her cousins horses whilst on holidays. At the age of 16 she purchased her first horse and started Pony Club and dabbled in a wide range of equestrian disciplines.
After graduating High School, she studied a Diploma in Horse Business Management and started to focus here riding in the discipline of Eventing. After completing at Marcus Oldham, Michelle secured a job as Head Groom for Olympian Shane Rose. Whilst working for Shane, Michelle had the opportunity when Shane was selected to be part of the Australian 2008 Olympics Games where the team won Silver, she has been part of many more overseas campaigns. Michelle herself trains an competes in the Eventing discipline on her own horses up to International 4* level.
In 2009 Michelle was in the inaugural winner of the FEI Groom of the Year award
2014 saw Will and Michelle relocate to start their own business WBF Breaking and Equine Education at the superb facilities "Ridgeview" in Robertson in the Southern Highlands of NSW. Michelle also working for Wallaby Hill Farm as Yard Manager.
The last 6 years have seen the business grow and service leading Stud Farms and Trainers across NSW and Internationally.
